I'm trying to think of some good outdoor toys I can get/look out for at sales for the summertime. We have a great back patio that gets lots of shade in the afternoon so I think it will be a nice place for Michael to play while baby and I hang out.
I am for sure getting a covered sandbox. What else?
Re: Good outdoor toys?
Anything with water. A bucket and plastic cups could keep Cohen occupied for a long time. Our neighbor has something similar to this which their little girl and Cohen really enjoy playing with.
Sidewalk chalk is another item that gets a lot of use at our house in the summer.
The things that get played with most here are:
bubble machines, cozy coupe, plasma car (movement of any kind makes it go), chalk and a sand/water table. Also, obviously a little wading pool is fun even if he doesn't get in. Scooping water with buckets and cups is great.
