So I was wondering you could share your experiences or any words of advice on having sex while on your period. I know DH would not mind at all but I guess I have never thought about it before. But I am extremely horny and my flow is light and well I want some. Do you guys do anything different at all during your period or not and honestly some people say it is better than when you dont have it is that true? I feel so silly asking this but I want to know.

We just use a towel underneath us if I'm bleeding pretty heavy. It doesn't bother him or me at all.
This. Although we usually wait until my lighter days towards the end of my period. When it's light sometimes we don't even need a towel.

DH runs away screaming at the concept. He will however work on live electrical equipment while hanging out of a boom truck 50ft off the ground.

Like others said, I would light some candles and do it in the shower. Nothing is seen and it's easy clean up!
Also, I have put a towel down too. It helps with easy clean up too, just throw the towel in the wash after.
Nothing is wrong with having sex while AF is visiting. Some men are grossed out by it, some are not. If you're man is up to it, and you too, then try it out.

Me too! It definitely helps my cramps.
Another tip, I'm on the pill, but when I have my period and my BF and I have sex, we usually use a condom as well just because it makes cleanup (for him) much easier.

My husband doesn't care about the blood so we just use a towel but we have used menstrual cups before too. The brand I bought is called "Instead" and it holds most of the blood, you can have sex with it in, he could just feel it a little bit but didn't hate it. Good luck (:
