Have any nesties sold their wedding items?
Hey ladies,
Somewhat new to the Nestie board...got married to the love of my life almost 6 months ago. Now we're in the home-buying process...except it's been extremely hard to find a house in the Bay Area. We've been outbid every single time by all cash offers!
Anyway, I'm trying to sell my wedding dress (the one I didn't wear...yes, i bought two, long story...) Have any of you sold your dresses or items? I've listed various places but haven't been successful. Any tips would be great. It's a brand new dress that I never wore and I'm selling it for less than half what I paid for it! I think it's a good deal...

What have you tried? I've heard of people selling theirs through Craiglist, ebay, weddingbee classifieds, the nest's "trash to treasure" board, the knot's "the dress" board, and preownedweddingdresses.com. You could also try local consignment shops.
I don't know the details of your dress, but if you've had it listed at multiple places for a while with no bites, it sounds like it might be time for a price reduction.
Where's that?
I also have a second dress and have been trying to sell it FOREVER. Nothing has worked so far.
