does anyone still talk to happyasjustkim?

has anyone heard from her?  is she still living in Japan?  I never friended her on facebook (bad me) and I was thinking about her yesterday with all of this news

Re: does anyone still talk to happyasjustkim?

  • She's my FB friend. They are still in Japan and they are ok. :)
  • Hi! I hardly ever get on here anymore but I was flitting around and saw your post. Yes, we are still in Japan. We are just south of Tokyo, about 200 miles from the earthquake epicenter and nuclear plants. We DEFINITELY felt the quake- it was unlike anything I've ever experienced or ever want to go thru again- but our area is basically unaffected. No damage or injuries, thank God. We will have rolling black outs because of the nuclear plants and their inability to produce power now. We also have rations on gas. Our base has lots of extra people on it, here from all over to do rescue/research/recovery missions. But overall we doing fine. Northern Japan is not so lucky. My heart is just broken for this country and it's people, whom we have come to absolutely love. Please pray for them. This country has been hit hard and we have a long road ahead of us. But my husband, daughter and I are fine. Thanks so much for thinking of us!
  • oh my, that ticker is old. we've been married almost 3 years now! told you i'm never on here much :)
