G is sick, again.

I just feel terrible. We were at Target today and G threw up all over the aisle. Now she's got a fever and she threw up again at home. She was just sick last month! I've been working hard to sanitize, wipe her hands with the baby-safe sanitizing wipes, etc. I know the Y probably doesn't help but what else can we do to prevent her from being sick so much

I got probiotics but turns out most are cultured (I think that's the right word) in milk so they upset her tummy. I just feel really bad

Poor punkin! There is just SO much going around right now! You are doing everything you can I am sure to keep germs away from her but unfortunately their little immune systems just can't fight off these nasty bugs. I remember when E was little that someone told me that they get roughly one cold/illness a month and they can sometimes last up to two weeks. Thinking of it that way, kids are sick almost half the year! That made me feel a little better because I honestly felt like we just had back to back colds and sicknesses! Hang in there and give her extra cuddles- hope she feels better soon!

Honestly, you're doing everything you can. Reese was pretty much sick the entire first year of daycare. The pedi said it's normal for them to be sick fairly often their first year, but things get better their second. This has held true for Reese. Plus, everything going around this year seems like it hangs on forever!
