personalized scrapbook
Our 3 year anniversary is coming up, and someone on here (sorry, I cannot remember who) gave me the best gift idea. Year three is leather, so I am going to make a scrapbook page for each year of our marriage. I guess I will start with a page from our wedding, then one from our 1st anniversary, and end it with one from our 2nd anniversary, then each year I will add a page to it. I am so excited to make it! I bought an album at Michaels, just a (fake) leather one for like $15.00. But then I started thinking that it would be nice to get one that is personalized. I have been searching on-line, but everything I find is like $100. and I'm not willing to spend that much. Has anyone ever seen anything like this for sale anywhere? Thanks!

Yay! It was my idea.
I haven't seen any personalized scrapbooks for sale anywhere, but could you maybe personalize the one you have? My first thought was to get a separate engraved metal plate, kind of like this:

Then somehow attach it to the scrapbook? Might that work? Definitely cheaper than $100!

That plate is a really good idea. And much less expensive. I will look more into that, or something similar, inplace of the actual album being personalized. Thanks a lot!

I know Creative Memories offers engraving on their albums, but their albums are pricey. Also, I know there was a local vendor at Krop for Kids last year that was personalizing albums, but of course, I don't remember the name. I'll see if I can find it.
What kind of album is it?, i.e., what's the binding like? Is it postbound, strap hinge, or 3 ring?
My silly Lily is almost 4.
I already ordered the name plate thingee, so I'm just gonna go with that. But thanks a lot for the offer to help!
