Hello!! How is everyone? I feel I needed to check in and see how y'all are doing.
H and I got a wedding invite from one of H's friends and I was SO excited! I promptly RSVPed (you know, the day we got it in the mail) and I can't wait to go. I guess I really am having wedding withdrawals. I'm also excited because this will be the first wedding we will go to since ours. I'm cheesey, I know.

Hey! We're doing okay. The trees were removed by our neighbor's insurance so that saved us a HUGE expense and we are thankful for that! We are looking forward to Hawaii (belated honeymoon) and have begun planning a trip to Florida this summer. I'm so excited that we get to go to a beach as H has only been to a beach once in his life.
I'm deciding whether or not to go back to school for a second Masters this summer. I just can't seem to get motivated to go. We are planning on a Jack Russell puppy this summer and naming it Waldo.
My ILs decided not to throw us a big wedding celebration in H's hometown this summer due to some extended family drama. Neither H nor myself like a whole lot of attention so we're kind of glad.
We recently finished our bathroom reno and the basement is up next. We plan to get started as soon as we submit the building plans to the city. Can't wait for our man/woman cave!

I so get the wedding withdrawal thing...I just came across a box full of wedding "extras" that I have to figure out what to do with! (Anyone need a Pashima?!?) This spring should be pretty busy for weddings in our circles too, so it'll be nice to be a guest instead of the main attraction. LOL
Life's been pretty busy...I rescued a Border collie/ Aussie puppy last week and he's been a (wonderful) handful! As soon as I get him neutered I'm going to start seeking a home for him...already started on a website to track his progress from abused to blossoming. I'll post some pictures of the little guy here soon.
So between, work, puppy & Guests in town for Mardi Gras, I'm actually looking forward to some downtime....!

Anyhoo, my SIL is getting married this year, and so is my cousin Tim. I'm so excited to be going to more weddings. I'm actually watching 'Wedding Crashers' right now, thinking about our big day.
Married life is GREAT, but my appetite has been ferocious! I definitely am not pregnant, I just feel like ever since the buffet on the honeymoon, I just can't say no. *sigh*
I've got to get it together. My husband does too. LOL!

142 Ready To Celebrate!
We're doing good. Looking forward (and feeling nervous) about our move this summer. I'm starting the job hunt... which I hate! I just wish I could fast foward and see the future.
My cousin got engaged in Feb and I offered her my dress to try. After a few days of shopping, she decided that she really does love mine the best and wants to wear it for her wedding! I'm so surprised and touched. She also asked me to be a bridesmaid. I've never been a BM before so I'm super excited! (only not so excited about the orange dress she wants me to wear, but whatever I'm NOT going to be the bridesmaid causing drama!).
