Buying a wedding dress online??
Re: Buying a wedding dress online??
I was a weird bride. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on my dress because I mess up everything so I wanted a cheap dress and after trying on a bunch of dresses realized that I liked the look of Maggie dresses.
I bought my dress online. I bought a no name, no label, dress probably sewed in a sweatshop from Ebay and had it shipped from China (nope...I'm not kidding), folded into a fedex soft mailer) to my apt in LA.
Brought it home and had a dress person here in Toledo doctor it up to fit me.
I paid $100 and my dress was amazeballs and I got tons of compliments.
There was a website whose name I'm forgetting but if you look around the knot you'll find it. It was a store but they sold most of their stuff online and had great prices. I would check them out too (if they are still in business).
If she knows what she's looking for then I say get it online. If she doesn't know then she should go somewhere and try a bunch on to see what look she likes.
