It's finally Friday!
Today: My band is playing a show! I'm feeling the normal excited/nervous/dread/can't wait until it's over/I'm totally gonna mess up feelings, which is fun! We go on around 11pm, our set will probably end around midnight, and I plan on riding the adrenaline high at the bar all the way 'til 2am!
Tomorrow: Sleeping in is at the top of my list. H and I want to go for another run to see how far we go! I have no idea what's up for tomorrow night - maybe we'll go out to dinner?
Sunday: I'll run while H is at work. Then...? Laundry and cleaning, probably.
Have a great weekend!

CCH: is your sn from FOB? It just hit me a couple weeks ago when I was listening to their CD.
Tonight: DH and I went on a run with Pepper, but DH locked his ONLY key in the car. I'm not in a happy mood. we just made pizza, and I have 700 calories left to eat AFTER the pizza, so I'm ready to drag DH out to icecream to make it up to me.
Tomorrow: cleaning, and meeting up with a friend and her baby.
Tomorrow night: not sure yet.
Sunday: early dinner with my parents and brother b/c bro is home on spring break.
SQUEEE!
Tonight: Bought a new lightbulb and got a Caramel Macchiato from sbux.
Saturday: Grocery shopping at some point.

Yeah, Eskamo! The day is finally here. Congrats!
Well, from a couple posts down, you'll know where I'll be. I leave tomorrow morning for O'hare and then off to Mexico. It's a 5 hour direct flight, but it'll be luxury on Sunday hopefully relaxing in 97 degree sunshine. Ok, enough of that.
Talk to everyone in a week.
Yay eskamo!
Have fun nvanhelden!
Last night: Out to dinner with DH and a friend.
Today: Lunch with a friend and online teaching all day - as well as studying for a couple of exams.
Tomorrow: Seeing my parents; seeing my friends new house, and online teaching.
Eskamo - YAY!!
nvanhelden- have a blast!
Last night: laid on the couch all night. I have a really bad stiff neck right now so I had ice on it and took Tylenol PM, which made me pass out around 9.
Today: it's the first day of Spring break and my neck doesn't feel any better, so I'll probably catch up on magazines, watch some movies, etc. I'm hoping my second chiropractor appt on Monday fixes this so I can drive up to see my nephew on Tuesday!
Tomorrow: It really depends on how I feel. I have to go out to the greenhouse at the botanical garden to work a little, but probably another lazy day.
it is! they use the phrase in a couple of their albums (second & third, i believe), and i've always really liked it. it's one of those things that means something different to everyone.
I have the third one in my car right now, but I can't find the first and second, and it bums me out. I think they got misplaced in my 101 moves over the years. I truly believe that FOB helped me get through some depression I had after my grandmother passed away. I love their lyrics, and I totally get what you mean.
{here comes my super lameness}
i feel the same way, except for me they mirrored my relationships and i could really relate. i heard their first album while cheating on my college BF-the guy i was seeing drove a truck that, as the song goes, was always parked outside my house. when BF and i broke up, i had a difficult time moving on and that album really spoke to me. by the time the second album came out, i was going through another breakup and i was far more sad, felt taken advantage of, etc. their third album was a bit more upbeat and seemed to talk more about new relationships-which was exactly when i started dating DH, so it felt appropriate and relevant.
i know, it's lame. it's all how i've interpreted it in my own head, but somehow it really always helped me to feel better. or at least like i wasn't the only one. i hated their fourth album though. i tried. i WANTED to LOOOOVVVEEE it. but, i don't. i listen to the first 4 songs and turn it off. ashley simpson made pete turn in to a lyrical wuss by then!
{going back to keeping lame to myself, now}
I feel the same way every time I listen to them. Like it hits me right in the heart, and I think, "yes! I totally get it!"
i'm glad i'm not the only one!!!
