What are you reading now?
I need to re-load my kindle and I need some recommendations! I know we did a post like this a while back but I had it saved on my old laptop.
Re: What are you reading now?
It's almost here! Weeeeeeee!
my read shelf:
43/70 books read
Back in June 2010...
I'm reading Anna and the French Kiss. It's a YA book about a high school girl who does her senior year at a French high school. It's cute. It's a good easy read to balance my reading for school.
I also have The Hunger Games on my list. I haven't tried this series yet and there's so many rave reviews, I thought I'd finally try it. There's also a new Jodi Piccolt book out, Sing Me to Sleep, I think.
Hunger Games is AH-Mazing! FYI
Right now I'm in the middle of Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon. It's second in the Outlander series. It's good, but taking me awhile. I just started Jennifer Weiner's Good in Bed (because of Knibs).
I'm also reading The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding... but I don't think you really want that on your Kindle
And I seriously need to update my Goodreads!! Thanks for the unknowing reminder, Knibs!

I just started Water for Elephants last night. I heard its good but I can't offer any opinions on it yet.
The last book I read before this was The Apothicary's Daughter by Julie Klassen. It was a very sweet book and I loved it!
anything by Sophie Kinsella, she is HILLARIOUS!!!
I am reading Mercy by Jodi Piccolt right now
Just finished Water for Elephants and handed it off to my coworker to read! It was really good, but really sad in a lot of parts. I read a lot of the free books on amazon that I send straight to my kindle app on my phone; did I mention FREE?! haha. Some are dumb but I have found some that I enjoyed.
Some that I've read in the past that I recall liking (just went to my bookshelf for a refresher):
Little Earthquakes- Jennifer Weiner
Barefoot- Elin Hilderbrand
The Weight of Silence- Heather Gudenkauf
Whistling in the Dark- Lesley Kagen
The Pact- Jennifer Sturman
Playing With Boys- Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez
Good in Bed -Jennifer Weiner
The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes- Diane Chamberlain
My Planning Bio
Just finished Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It's a Christian book.. which I had never read before.. but I really enjoyed it. It's a love type of book..categorized as romance, but it's not super sexual in ANY way.
The History of Love by Nicole Krauss.. just amazing.
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is great.. and brings you in to a new world.
