WWYD- with bacon grease?
My friend suggested making bacon on cookie racks so the fat dripped and I've never had so much left over before. I usually save some to cook with veggies but this is like a cup of fat. We moved in the winter so we definately don't have an active enough compost to handle protein/meats anymore and don't have any animals that would love a treat with their food. I stuck it in the fridge and would rather not waste it. TIA!

This is excellent- Thank you ladies! I love making soups & will probably try suet. I even saved meatloaf grease tonight. Does anyone make soap (haven't in a long time but I don't think grease is clean enough for body soap)?!

I wondered how all the bacon flavors happened. This is officially the beginning of my love affair with bacon. I can't wait (& will be getting up even earlier than I need to tomorrow to make this happen)!!
