My 18 year old cousin just got engaged to her 21 year old boyfriend. 
They met at Chik-fil-a where they both currently work. The thing is, they're not white trash and I thought she was smarter than this. Good grief.

I doubt she'll change her mind, her parents are super religious and basically their circle gets married really young so they can have guilt free Jesus approved sex.
I was going to ask about the bolded part but I could phrase it in a way that didn't sound hypocritical of me.
My non-trashy 19yo cousin married his 17yo girlfriend. That was almost six years ago and they're still together, happy, and most surprisingly and impressive - they're stable and totally drama-free.
It's certainly not the norm, but even if they do go through with it maybe it will work out.
The first thought that slipped, completely, totally and in all other ways unexpectedly out of left field and into my head was "That's why I got married"
Then I gave myself the side-eye and refused to talk to me on principle.

My sister told me that that's why our cousin (22) is getting married this summer, to have guilt free sex, because she's super religious and in some new wave church. They don't have any money, and aren't thru college, so they're planning to live with my aunt and uncle for the first year at least. Sounds like an awesome means to have sex... living with the parents.
Anyway... not surprising, this is the sister of the cousin whose 4 month marriage just ended.
