Prayers please
I talked to my mom today, and my Dad hasn't been feeling well. She said his colon has been acting up again, and he's trying to eat bland foods to calm it down (he has ulcerative colitis). I told her to make him go to the Dr, but he is refusing. I have even told him before to go to my doctor to get a colonsocopy asap (it's been years since he has been). He is stubborn, and since he is unemployed he doesnt have health insurance (cobra was too expensive). She told him to go to a free clinic and he wont.
Please pray for my daddy that he gets healthy, and quits being so stubborn and goes to the doctor!

Because they want to be the hero and macho man. I think if they go to the doctor they think it is a sign of weakness. To me it is a sign that they want to take care of themselves so they can be around for another 50 years or so.
Yep... stubborn. UGH!
