It's Official...

I'm a New Englander now.  My Floridian blood has thickened more than I realized and now, in 50 degree weather, I am cleaning my apartment with the windows open and a tank top on.  What has gotten into me?!  I don't even know if I'll be able to stand when it gets 80+ degrees.  This "spring" weather is glorious!  Hope you all are enjoying it, too!

Re: It's Official...

  • Hahaha, I've seen it happen many times.  50 degrees seems like the magic number for feeling balmy to former cold-blooded types :)  Glad you're taking to New England so well!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Haha this weekend was gorgeous!
  • Too funny.  Can you tell yet when it smells like snow? A friend of mine went to school with a girl from California, and their freshmen year, the CA girl thought we were BSC when we'd say it smelled like it was going to snow.

By March, she'd figured it out.

  • I can tell! Although, I did "grow up" in Boston (moved to FL when I was 14 and then back up 10 months ago) so that might have something to do with it.  This winter was awful and I cursed under my breath very often about it being 80 degrees back home while it was blizzarding here....but I think spring will more than make up for it.
  • welcome back! i met so many people who had just moved up here this year, I had to keep reassuring them that this winter was VERY Atypical!!!
