Good Monday all. I hope you had good weekends.
I was busy busy Friday and Saturday prepping for Pop's 80th birthday. Lots of fun and laughs with my family. Then Sunday I went shopping and had birthday lunch with my aunt and lounged all day.
One day until my birthday! I feel like taking off tomorrow but I have a lot going on here.
Staff meeting over lunch today = no zumba. Boo.
Re: Hidey Ho Monday
It's early, but...
Pffft. Are you a doctor? No? Then it ain't life or death. Take the day.
Happy birthday eve! I'd take tomorrow off if I were you. But then again, I'm kinda lazy.
Just woke up and plan on doing NOTHING today but watching chick flicks. Took the day off for a weekend trip we didn't end up taking. Plus I hate my job so much it's worth them dealing w/o me once in a blue moon.
Which chick flicks are on your agenda? I like the sound of that day.
Happy early birthday Stephanie!
This weekend was good, despite being fairly uneventful. The highlight was FINALLY getting a cheeseburger; I've been craving one since January. So that tells you how exciting my life is. Saturday we went to a bar and had dinner (burger!) with friends, then played some pool and generally felt like the oldest people there. Sunday I did some work-related reading while Jeff went to work, and then we lazed about and watched the DVR. A good, relaxing weekend. I've kept good on my promise of no more moping, working out again, and getting back to a regular schedule so far, so hopefully that lasts!
This week is Spring Break so I don't have classes. I have some administrative-type stuff and more reading on the agenda; pretty low-key day.
I'm baaack! I had such a nice 4 day weekend with my husband. We went to South Lake Tahoe to celebrate my b-day, our dating anniversary and our engageaversary. We went snoeshoeing, since I don't ski or board. We did a little gambling, as soon as I was -$20.00, I quit since I'm a cheapo.
We came back Saturday afternoon and on our way home stopped by the Jelly Belly Factory. We took their toor and bought enough Jelly Beans to last us through the end of the year. We then got home and relaxed.
Yesterday we had a BBQ at my dads house. It was just close family, so it was small but nice. I ate way to much food, especially the tres leches cake Richard bought.
I had a great few couple of days. Not it's Monday, back to work and business as usual.
Steph, definately take your b-day off! I did
and it was nice not to see my co-workers on my b-day.
Burlesque, Life As We Know It, You Again and I might get Jackasss 3 for good measure. Just reserved them at a red box and pug face and I are gonna take a walk.
Hey ladies!
We went to the inlaws this weekend to get them ready for calving. They have 10inches of snow and 4inches of water it's either mud or snow out there sooo ecky!
I have a full blown sinus infection and I feel like complete poop.
Misty - I saw the end of your pugface walk adventure on FB. Been there with Gus (30 pounds). Not good.
Jessie - I am on my third round of antibiotics for stupid sinus issues.
Oooh, I LOVED "Life As We Know It"! And let me know how you like Burlesque.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
