Re: weekend update
we had a lovely weekend, other than being sad that my husband left on vacation... Friday night we relaxed and made some chicken soup.
Saturday I studied for most of the day with a classmate for my research midterm on Wednesday.
Saturday night we went to see Elton John in Worcester - what a show!!!! He performed for three straight hours. Unreal. Then H left after we got home from the concert on Saturday (Sunday am) around 2am.
Yesterday I was lazy most of the morning. Then my sister drove up and we went shopping at the outlets and went to dinner. It was a nice day with her and her hubby/my brother-in-law.
My weekend was pretty lovely... Friday I went to an oyster bar for dinner with a couple friends and then I met up with some other friends at a karaoke bar and had tons of fun.
Saturday I slept in, cleaned house, layed out, went to work at my moms for a couple hours, and then H and I went to a surprise bday party which was a lot of fun.
Sunday I slept in again, did laundry, layed out, a friend stopped by with her baby, had a bbq by myself lol, went for a walk with a friend, and then just layed around.
First weight loss goal - 40lbs... DONE! Second weight loss goal - 17lbs...
Good morning everybody! (Except VA since it's probably afternoon there)
I had a cold so stayed home from work on Friday and pretty much lounged on the couch all day Friday and Saturday. Yesterday we did grocery shopping and I re-organized the kitchen. H worked all 3 nights so me evenings were filled with HGTV and on-line shopping.
my weekend was awesome! we had SO much fun in L.A....saw a bunch of celebs and the taping of Hot in Cleveland was so neat. it was 5 hours long but we were kept entertained the whole time. i won a tshirt and bc we were VIP, we got a pic with the cast and a signed script of the episode. so fun!
i flew back on Saturday and right into Cincy where i met H and my dad and his gf for the Cincy Wine Festival. omg so much wine....i think there were like 150 vendors and each one had like 5-10 different wines to taste. ummmmm yeah..i'm still recovering.
also...we had a showing of our condo! our realtor is super excited bc it's been on the market less than a week and she said that was great news. of course, i have no idea what the condo looked like bc i was gone all weekend...but my mom stopped over and picked things up a bit.
Morning!!
Wkend was ok. H and I made dinner & he watched the Green mile friday night (for the ump-teenth time....why can guys watch the same movie over & over wo being bored) while I read glamour....
Sat h had to work so I stayed busy applying for jobs and doing spring cleaning stuff.
Sat night we did close to the same - went to bed early. Yesterday we played "wash/vacumm the truck and car", grocery shopping. had a nice dinner & again watched tv. Just thought of this, this was the first weekend in months we didn't go to home depot! SCORE!
Today, I'm here plugging away at applications again. I had a good interview last wed for my dream job - so I'm hoping to hear something this wk about a 2nd interview.....::crossing fingers::

Let's see... Friday during the day Finley and I had a play date at this local bouncy house place. We both had so much fun, but I was exhausted afterwards! Friday night I went to our local bump GTG which was really fun. I never get to talk to everyone that I want to, but I got to talk to some ladies that I already know and talk to a few new friends - and I was out until almost midnight. Nice to have a girls night out every once in a while!
Saturday I picked up around the house a little bit in anticipation of having a cleaning lady come out on Tuesday for an estimate. Then Finley, H and I ran some errands - bought a Grill! So excited! And a new baby gate for the stairs, which is nice. Then he went to play poker, and my BFF came over - we got take out thai food for dinner which was delish, and then we worked on paper flowers and stuff for her wedding in two weeks!
Yesterday H and I went car shopping while Fin was with my MIL. We had a lot more fun than we expected to (the sales people were nice and pretty low pressure since we said that we were absolutely not buying yesterday). We narrowed it down to two cars. Then we went to dinner with my IL's at McAlisters.
Last night was awful, I started feeling sick and then Fin woke up like three different times overnight and wouldn't go back to sleep. I feel like POO today!
But until last night our weekend was great!
