Recipe raves for CHEEKY and Robin

I made these for Tristan's class for his birthday last week: Cookies and Cream Cupcakes  Who shared this with us?  I have it down as Erin, but Cheeky insinuated on FB that it was in fact she who shared the recipe with us.  I seem to be confusing the 2 of you a lot lately in the recipe department, not sure why.

EDIT: Thanks to Alicia's detective work a la Scooby Doo and the gang, I have learned this is in fact Cheeky's rave. 

Anyhow, these cupcakes are amazing!  Tristan told me all his classmates said "they were the best cupcakes they ever had".  That's saying a lot coming from 4-5 year olds!!  I had one last night (10 whopping WW points but I saved up all day for one) and I have to agree, pretty damn fabulous!!  Thank you Erin or Cheeky!

I recently made Robin's Beer Braised BBQ Pork Butt.  So now I'm torn between Cheeky's (or Erin's...GAH) Slow Cooker Pulled Pork which I had recently tried and thought was fanfuckingtastic.  And then I had Robin's.  Oh man...equally as good.  Amazing!  Fabulous!  Knock your freaking socks off good.

Thanks ladies (whomever you really are) for the great recipes!

  • I've been meaning to post an additional rave for the Slow Cooker Pulled Pork.  The first time I made it, I only let it marinate for a few hours.  It was great.  Last week I made it again, and marinated it for 2 days.  Wow!  What a freakin' difference.  It was so much better.  It had an awesome bite at the end.  Try it again!

    so glad they were worth 10 points and that the birthday boy loved them!

    Yes  i totally agree, the longer it marinates in the rub the better it is!
