As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I know, i've been putting it off for a while because of that. Oh well.
My old name was the same thing as my FB profile so I decided it was time to change.
Say wha? I think the nest gods can take punctuation out of your SN, but I don't think there's any other way to change without starting over.
Really? I asked Nest Annie about this a lonngggggg time ago & she said once you created a name... That was it.
I know you can use the same Gmail account for multiple Nest names if you move any periods over.
Ex: your.name@gmail is your email. Create an account with you.rname@gmail & the Nest recognizes it as a new account, but Gmail does not, so it'll still send it to your regular gmail.
I feel the same way! I like the new name!
