MT's post got me thinking. And since many of you have them, this could be a good place to gather opinions.
We are due for upgrades this week. I want an iphone in the worst kind of way. It took me forever to be ok with spending the extra $30 a month but I finally came to terms with it. Well, now MrShoe has suddenly decided he wants one too. It's not that I don't want him to have one but seriously, the man sends 7 text messages a month. He will not use this thing to its fullest potential. He will not appreciate it's coolness! And the thought of our cell bill jumping $60 a month makes me ill.
So my other option is to get an ipod touch instead of an iphone and just get new, not-as-cool phones without data plans. Will I forever regret this decision? Do I just let him get the damn iphone and suck an extra $30 out of our budget?
Discuss.
Re: So, can we talk about the iphone?
You will regret not having a smart phone. While I love my iTouch, I SPPH my smart phone. Because it never fails, when you NEED internet access, you will not have Wifi.
YWIA.
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
you dont have to get the $30 data plan.
they have other options. DH has the 2g data plan which is TONS of usage for $15
and i think they just came out with an even cheaper one too.
you need an iphone. seriously.
if you have wifi at home and work, your phone will pick up on your wireless and will not use up your data.
trust me, just like everyone should have trusted my choice of Chimes instead of LaCarretta.....(just saying)
I like this option. A lot.
& I seriously LOL'd at the last line.
Please to be referencing my Christmas post. I am not sacrificing sh*t. He can start eating tofu for a couple months.
