Re: Pi Day!
Weekend was okay -- I'm still coughing (lame) so I spent most of Saturday just hanging out reading and watching movies. Yesterday was fun. I went quilt store shopping (again) with my friend, my mom, and my aunt. Last night I quilted and knit for a while.
This morning, however, sucks big time. I woke up covered head to toe in hives, which hasn't ever happened to me before. Like, I have one on my eyelid, about four on the tops of my feet, and then scattered anywhere and everywhere in between. They don't itch or hurt, thankfully, they're just red and gross looking. Needless to say, I called in sick to work and am waiting for a call back from my doctor to see what she recommends.
We always had so much fun on Pi Day in school. The math teachers hid pi symbols all over school and the student with the most by the end of the day won a prize.
We had a great weekend and went to a wedding in New Orleans. The bride was a college roommate/sorority sister and it was so much fun to spend time with a bunch of college friends I haven't seen in a few years. And toward the end of the wedding, they kept handing out props on the dance floor (just married mardi gras beads, hats, beach balls and lighted rings), which sounds weird, but it became a huge fun dance party.
This weekend was uneventful. Jason worked 7 to 7 all weekend. I worked Saturday morning. Then I just lounged around all day. I went to dinner at my parents house Sunday afternoon. They bought a new car Saturday and my mom let me take it for a spin. It is super nice!

Happy Pi day!!
We had a good weekend. Saturday, I just ran some errands and did a little pot gardening. Then we went out Saturday night and had a few beers (my late 3/11 celebration). Sunday, we slept in and then went to a Paella Cookoff in San Antonio with DH's cousin. He took the day off to spend the day with me since he's off all this week but I'm out of town for training. It was a nice change of pace for us.

I did not get much done this weekend because I was sick. I called in today too but am feeling much better now.
I stayed in bed most of the day and either slept or organized photos for scrapbooks. Page one of the wedding scrapbook - done!
