Help me pick a paint color!
We've finally decided it's time to get some laminate wood flooring to replace the fugly blue carpet in our bedrooms! Yay! But we're wanting to paint everything before we put down the new flooring. I need some ideas for what color we should paint our master bedroom and one of our spare rooms.
Master bedroom: The room is about 10x14, gets quite a bit of lighting, has dark wood baseboards but we're considering painting them white, and we just have a cheapy comforter right now, we'll probably buy a new one after we paint the walls (and if we can't find anything to go with the wall color, we'll just go with a white comforter, so that's not really an issue). So it can be any color!
Spare bedroom: It's pretty small, about 9x10, is currently filled with boxes, we're wanting to turn it into an office, it doesn't have much natural lighting.
And if this helps, our livingroom and hall are this color (I just googled this, this pic is not our house.)

I'm not too fond of reds, only because it's so hard to find the right shade.
I'm not sure about what kind of look. Probably something light and airy for the MB, if that makes since. I have no idea about the spare room. Probably nothing too bold for either room, we have an eggplant purple-ish color in the guest room and I think one bold room is plenty for me!

When we did our floors, they popped off the baseboards so we have to repaint some of the wall and touch up the baseboards.
Good luck! Do you have a kind picked out or contractor? We liked our guy because he made sure we were 100% satisfied.
Ooooh, that is a pretty color! I also like the lighter shades on that same paint chip thing.

Good point! We might take off the baseboards before we paint, that way we won't need to repaint and we won't have to tape off the baseboards.
We went and looked at a couple floor places Saturday. We have found a couple that we like, but I think we'll do a little more shopping around before we decide. We're going to install them ourselves. We have a friend who works for a remodeling company and knows how to put them in and both of our dads are very handy (plus my dad put in the wood floors at our old house.) The installation fee was going to cost the same, if not more, than the actual floors!
