Olympics Poll
As London gears up for the 2012 Olympics, the application process for tickets opens this week. DH and I will be applying for a number of different events, in hopes that we'll get at least some of them. Our wish list includes the opening ceremonies, and some gymnastics, track, swimming and beach volleyball sessions.
So, out of curiosity, what would be your top picks of sports / events to see?

Opening ceremonies would be a blast. Also swimming, track and weight lifting.

Since I live in Atlanta, I was here for the '96 Olympics. It was one of the coolest experiences. If I ever have the opportunity to go the games again I will. We put in requests for Gymnastics, Basketball, Baseball, Swimming and a few others. We only got tickets for Baseball.
The energy and excitement of being in the Olympic parks and areas are really fun. I collected pins and traded them. It was really exciting and fun to be apart of.
After the Summer Olympics here there was also the Paralymics. If you have an opportunity to go to any of those games I would. My family went to see the Medal rounds for Volleyball. It was awe inspiring. It was amazing to see what these athletes had to overcome to play.

Good point. I should look into the ticket process for those as well. Would definitely be cool to see some of them.
I wanted to put in for baseball tickets as well, but its no longer an Olympic sport
