that everything happens for a reason?
Last week, we were on board an airplane at LAX, headed for Tahiti when we got a phone call that my FIL had a massive heart attack and passed away. As we were escorted off the plane, I told K, "There is some reason we're not supposed to be in Tahiti right now." On Friday morning the tsunami from Japan hit Tahiti. It still gives me chills thinking about it.
Last week sucked. K's mom is already gone, so we spent the entire week cleaning out their house, dealing with the estate, meeting with lawyers, etc. I'm back to work today and I'm so emotionally drained I can barely think straight. If anyone has a spare hug, I could really use one.
Re: Do you believe
I'm glad you guys didn't go to Tahiti...I 110% believe that everything happens for a reason.
I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Thank goodness you 2 are safe.
I'm so sorry for y'all. Lots of prayers and hugs your way.
I completely think things happen for a reason.
Sunshine, that is terrible news. I am so sorry that you're dealing with that, and so sorry for your H to lose his father.
Hugs and T&Ps for you.
I am so sorry for your loss and I wish you luck dealing with the aftermath. That is a lot of work to do when you're grieving.
I'll be thinking of you. Hang in there.
And I totally believe everything happens for a reason...so glad you didn't make it to Tahiti.

I am so sorry for your loss. I also believe that things happen for a reason.
(((hugs)))
I would gladly go on a rant about things happening for a reason and God's love....but I think too many ladies here would kick me off my soap box and onto my arse

But prayers for your whole situation all around!
