PIP latest crochet project
I made a lamb set to send to a Nestie friend who's on the adoption path (she's not on this board so it's pretty safe to post here).

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: PIP latest crochet project
Way too cute! You are so talented!
You are? Hmm...this is for a lambie-themed nursery too. There's a knit lambie blanket I want to try eventually but it's too hard for my novice knitting skills right now and would take forever to finish.
Psh, I think you are a knitting goddess! But knitting is slow slow slow. There's a Bumpie on the CD board who is knocking out like 3 pairs of longies a week for the girls on the board, I don't know how she does it.
Love the lambies!!
Nah, my crochet skills are much better than my knitting skills. And I'm sooooo slow with knitting. I've really only completed two knitting projects ever. I watched a friend do it when I was out in California a few weeks ago and her fingers fly. I am seriously Ms. Slow Mo. Practice makes perfect though, I guess; I'll get there!
Thanks, everyone!
vanessa, the doggy bed you made is adorable! I love the fabric and clearly the recipient loves it
What a cutie.
How do you knit? I knit Continental, which is much faster than English.
I'm going to learn to crochet... Maybe after I finish my longies?
Continental! I randomly picked that up instead of English when I taught myself how to knit, and am so glad I did. It's actually more like how you hold the yarn in crochet, so I like it. But my friend knits English and she's still way faster than I am (though she's definitely been doing it longer).
That reminds me, I was going to poll the Crafts Nesties about this exact thing and forgot. Off to create a clicky...
I went and voted in it!
Once you get it down, Continental is so much faster. I'm so glad it is how I learned!
