  • - I feel like I'm in a rut with recipes - I need a new one to try!

    -  I love this warmer weather and longer,sunny days! 

    - I feel so bad for the people in Japan, and it makes all my little complaints about everyday life SO trivial.  I thank God for every single day...

  •  - I have been sneezing for the last 3 days. I'm hoping its just allergies and that I'm not getting sick

     - I'm really happy that I have my new position. My old position is getting SLAMMED with new claims, meanwhile, I have on average 1-3 claims per day and get to spend the rest of the day playing bananagrams on facebook. WIN

     - Extra daylight is AWESOME

  • running.

    i've been doing it about 4 times a week for the past few weeks and i will be the first to tell you - my love handles are ALMOST gone - yessah.

    problem being it's getting harder - strange right?

    i've been SWEATING horribly while running.  like serious sweating, gross gross.  i can't help it and it starts with the first few steps.  i've gone on 3 runs like this and i'm seriously like wtf.  then yesterday comes these horrible calf cramps!  i've NEVER ever felt muscle pain while running.  and i've been running since freshman year of HS.  i had to stop 3 times to stretch out my calf yesterday which i honestly have never done before. i'm hoping maybe a few runs outside this week will help as i've mostly been indoors.  

    so that's what on my mind - i like the random threads so can't wait to hear the rest!

  • I'm out of coffee creamer.

    I forgot to put on deoderant. Luckily I keep an extra in my desk. So even if my coffee isn't the way I like it at least I won't stink!

  • **Freak out! (I was trying to open a link from a google search that had reviews for the inn where we're staying for our trip, and my computer page started doing all these weird things - I closed the link and all seems to be fine, but I almost had a heart attack!)

    **Hope my day is calm, peaceful and low stress

    **I'm hungry - my breakfast sandwich sucked, so I tossed most of it out...

    **Is it too early in the day to be tired of being at work???

  • I am way obsessed with reading Harry Potter and all my food planning and other priorities have been shifted because of it. Yikes!

    DH is searching for religion and I need to get to my dad's to get a book I read in HS. He just brought it up last night which is a shame since my dad came up to visit this weekend and could've brought it. I'll try to cram re-reading it in so I can give him a synopsis before I offer it to him. 

    This week is totally nuts for me and I'm going to be pooped by Saturday! I have to make a truffle pie for SD's birthday and a cake for her party the next day! Looks like I'll be ODing on caffeine this week!

  • It's so freakin cold in my office today that I don't even want to drink anything cold, and I don't have any hot tea here.  I was doing so good with my water consumption again too.

    It has rained/snowed/rained here almost non-stop in the last 36 hours and I'm so over it.

    I am so happy that DH will be home in the evenings this week.  Last week he didn't get home until 8:30-9:00 every night and I feel like I never saw him.  Plus we weren't both home at the same time much this weekend either.

    yeah - shins are fine but could not believe the calf pain!  LOL - as far as races go, see I have an issue... when i was younger i was a fabulous runner and my best 5k was 21 minutes!  hahahahahaha now?  i'd be lucky to break 26 mins, so due to my PRIDE and the fact taht i can't beat my old times i don't really tend to do races lol.  right now i'm just running so i look and feel better!  don't get me wrong tho, i do love when i get into a groove and can just goooooooo!

  • I can't think of anything except the nonstop balloon popping that is going on in my office. Since 9:30 they were using a helium tank to blow up like a million balloons (it's LOUD and sounded like construction) for this guy's birthday, and now he is popping all of them. I'm about to lose my mind. Sorry, I thought I worked in a law office?

     First of all...you're ASHAMED of a 26 minute 5K...I don't like you anymore. : ) Secondly, the cramping means you are gettind dehydrated, which I do too because I'm a MEGA sweater as well. Try drinking a gatorade about an hour to 30 minutes before you run. Or a Smart Water. Both have electrolytes that will keep your energy up and keep your body hydrated enough to ward off those cramps!!  - With my insane shin splints I have read about every article on keeping healthy while running...haha!

    lol - only cuz i USED to be able to do it easy peasy!  lol  yeah, i'm not the brightest bulb aye?  didn't put 2+2 together and that those two things may be related?  lol - i def appreciate the info and will def be trying that out pre-run tomorrow!   thanks lady!!!

  • - This morning has been crazy hectic, and a HUGE crop policy I thought I was going to get was written with another agent using some quite non-ethical procedures...I may become violent.

    - Started tanning (tsk tsk, I know...), and I just love that twenty minutes of warm nap. : )

    - I am to the point that I get EXCITED about working out. Tonight is weights and then I will bike during Biggest Loser at home. Sad we don't have Zumba tonight, but we will Thursday!!!  : ) But, am still bummed that I can't run until Saturday/Sunday.
