Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Dad's friend in Japan
My dad has a friend in Japan who is a professor at the university in Sendai. He actually had been e-mailing with him a few hours before the earthquake but now has no idea if he is okay. Obviously the lines of communication are broken so he can't get a hold of him but he's very worried. Hopefully him and his wife are fine but really no one knows. He's known this guy for years and I remember they came for Christmas one year - they are such nice people.

Hope they are safe. They say phone lines and stuff are down so hopefully that is just the case. Are they on facebook or anything? It seems that people are able to get ahold of people that way.
