What is everyone doing to celebrate St. Patty's day??
Usually I'm really into going out and pretending I'm Irish;) but this year Josh will be in Philly for work, so I'll probably just stay in and do nothing...and of course I can't drink, soooo yeah. I guess it will just be a normal day for me!
Re: St. Patty's day!
Stand up for something you believe in.
Lol:) That's cute. I will probably wear green too:)

I have the day off, but having Sami kinda puts a damper on any plans
I'll wear green, and I have a few more outfits to choose from for her (being in a very Irish family, she has been inundated with St Patty's Day gear). I have a 4-pack of Guinness and a 20oz bottle of Magners waiting in the fridge for when she goes to bed, tho... and we'll prolly have our annual viewing of The Boondock Saints with a friend or two.
Sunday my mom is making her boiled dinner, so I'm pretty psyched for that!

Normally it would be corned beef, cabbage, turnips, and potatoes, but she makes hers with smoked shoulder instead

And the only way I'll ever eat cabbage and turnips!

I'll drink whatever they decide to peddle around the office. It's almost guaranteed it will be a beer cart day.
Then I'm going home and watching Boondock Saints with DH. We're exciting.
He's also requested I make the Guinness cupcakes, but they are so much work, I'm not sure if that is going to happen.
:Blog:
I always wear my grandmother's emerald jewelry (she's the Irish ancestor and the one I most resemble).
I'm hoping I'll have time tomorrow night to make stew for Michael (trying to be a bit more authentic Irish. Michael's father had no clue what corned beef and cabbage was - lol!). We may be headed to NYC to see our friends' show which will include some re-vamped Irish tunes.

Nothing!
I'm usually so sick of St. Patty's Day by the time it actually gets here. I've spent the last few weeks looking at lepruchans and shamrocks while doing bar advertising. Blech.
We're doing corned beef & cabbage..hopefully I can get Jon to throw it in the crockpot on his lunch break.
Other than that, not much!
Oh how could I forget corned beef & cabbage!
And a belly full of shamrock shakes from McDonalds
Ya know, I have yet to have a Shamrock Shake yet this year. I remember being disappointed last year... maybe I will have to give it another try.

I have the Dr that day and plan on wearing green.
Part of me wishes that baby would come that day..with a name like Teaghan what better day to be born than St. Patty's day.
I am also picking up take out for H, he wants cornd beef for dinner but I don't eat it so I am getting him some from a local pub. I feel bad for him bc he has to take the train home from the city with all the drunk ppl who went into the city for the big NYC St Pattys day parade.
It'll be a normal day for me. I might wear some green, if I can find something.
I made a boiled dinner on Sunday for the first time and it came out great. So easy to do! H suggested that we put it on our Sunday dinner rotation.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
For Thursday, I'll just wear green. I'm not a fan of corned beef or cabbage so I won't be making either.
This weekend we are going to the Dropkick Murphy's annual St. Paddy's Day concert. This year it's being held a good 40 minute drive so I just have to hope I don't fall asleep on the way home. ( I'm obv. the DD that day)

When I made these last year for NYE, DH made the ganache and was verrrrrrrrrrrrrry proud of himself, haha. So good!
