Either I'm preggers or getting ready for major PMS

So I've obviously been stressed lately (SIL drama; baby making drama...)

Last night J was eating some ice cream.  I looked at him and said, "ohhhhh, I want to take those little chocolate covered donuts we have in the cupboard and put them in vanilla ice cream."  It sounds really good to me!!  J thought I was crazy.

I've come to these conclusions:

1. Maybe I'm knocked up and having crazy food cravings already (realistically, it's WAAAAAAAY too early for that and highly unlikely).

or

2.  Flo is on her way and I should stock up on chocolate and say F it for WW this week

or

3.  Week 7 of WW is causing me to have mental images of foods that aren't good for you and wouldn't really be good together either.

Thoughts?  Anyone else having any food cravings lately??  (for any reason)

  • it could be any, but i am on week 7 of WW and feeling the same way (though not acting on said impulses!)
  • I am no help because I am like this fairly frequently with no rhyme or reason.  :)

I haven't been acting out on it either, but, MAN, I was close last night!!  I REALLY wanted it!!!  Smile

Ditto Laura!  If it were me, I'd guess being on week 7 of WW is the culprit.  I'm not doing WW, but trying to eat healthier.  We have all this ice cream in the house from when we had H's parents to visit, but instead of eating that, I made fat free and sugar free pudding.

mushe, I would be MORE than happy to take the IC off your hands...I bought two containers of Edy's @ the grocery store last night and we'll still have to get more mid-week since they won't last til my next shopping trip.Sad

Big Smile  I'm trying soooo hard to be good, espcially because this is the full-fat Breyer's.  (I think it's the same as Edy's?)  YUM.  Luckily they were out of my favorite, mint chip, and it's easier for me to resist vanilla.

  • Maybe a combo of PMS and week 7?

  • We have the Edy's slow churn, which is 1/3 the fat and/or calories (not sure) but still pretty tasty.  Right now the grocery store has Girl Scout cookie flavors (thin mint, tagalong, etc) and we have Samoa at home.  If we're reasonable with portion size (which we achieve by having small bowls that don't hold much), it's like 100 calories so really, not bad at all!

This is what I've been buying too.  I don't even miss the 'real' stuff, it's that good.  Jelly Bean is going to be an IC addict from day one.

Hmm, now I'm thinking it's Dreyer's and Edy's that are the same, not Breyer's.  H has got me hooked on Breyer's, which is all natural and so so good.  H's mom has Celiac disease, so she can't eat a lot of ice creams because they have things added to stabilize them.
