More earthquakes in Japan =(
This time in central Japan. Sweet Jesus. It's getting closer to the area where they predict the really big one will hit (they hit with fairly regular frequency since the 680s). The Japanese earthquake scale goes up to a 7, and they expect this one will be around that number.
And if you haven't read this article, please do so. Please don't be swayed by the ignorant or under-informed voices advising people not to donate to Japan because it's a wealthy nation. They donated tons when Katrina hit and are second only to the US in foreign aid.

I wish there was something I could do for the people in Japan. I just think about everyone living there especially kids. My cousin is stationed over there and he is fine, but of course no electricty or heat. It is freezing temperatures there. I just can't imagine what the people are going thru. Living on basically nothing.

Thanks for the links. Even if Japan is a wealthy country that doesn't mean that the people and NGOs don't need assistance. Japan's economy has hurt been hurt by these natural disasters too, and like you said, Japan has provided aid to several to other countries hit by devastation.
In case people haven't figured it out, we're all in this together. New Zealand was hit with an earthquake recently and Japan was quick to send aid. In turn, NZ has sent back aid to Japan to help with their current crisis. Although, I'm sure they would have done it regardless. Pay it forward people!
