I am getting frustrated and nervous. My interview was Thursday morning with the dentist, she said she would speak to the hiring manager and he would call me. I havent heard anything yet. When would be appropriate to call?

Re: Should I call?
did you send a thank you note? i wouldn't call...it hasn't been long enough for me to call and follow-up. they really probably haven't made their decision yet.
if you haven't sent a thank you note, it might be a good opportunity for a follow-up.
Will do! [after] I send the thank you notes. Thanks for the advice!!

Yah I used to staff a lot and I recommend sending a thank you note and your interview may have been on Thursday but they may still be interviewing (not to dwindle your hopes) so it may take awhile.
General rule is a week or so.
def send thank you note and maybe add something like...."please let me know if there is any additonal information you may need"...or something to that affect...
That way if there is something they need, you're a step ahead.
Don't worry, though, I agree with PP, a week is the norm, but depending on the amount of candidates they are seeing it could be longer. Hang in there champ!!!
