I will start:
What are they building in the Brenton Village mall parking lot. The building butts right up to the large brick retaining wall.
Re: Random questions
MM has the worst return policy ever - so I doubt they would take it back. That doesn't make sense to have a DD shirt. I would be annoyed. Check to see what it is made out of.
I know, that's what someone told me AFTER I shopped there (Macy's for sure next time). Ugh. I found what looks like the exact shirt on their website, and it says machine wash (shirt is made out of a jersy knit material). Right now I'm thinking a light hand wash and air dry is fine. I can't imagine it would totally ruin the shirt to do that. If it does, well then I'm only out $15.
I think that will be an Anthropologie. I found this link about it
With everything economically going on how many people are/had to file for bankruptcy of some kind?
In the same vein, what is going in by the 28th/K'zoo Meijer? Front, right portion of the lot if you're looking at the store from the street.

I love that store. Maybe if I start saving now, I'll be able to afford something by the time they open.
Dude, fer real...
8-12 hours, depending on the awesomeness of the destination.
About 8 hours.
With a 14-18 month old - 5-6 hours. I'm taking it the two travel days would be part of the five days. If you kept it to 5-6 hours, you could arrive at check in time wherever you are going and still have a few hours in the evening to relax.
We have a free place to stay at the following destinations:
Wisconsin Dells, WI
Branson, MO
Hershey, PA (Already been and want to save for when T is older.)
Atlantic City, NJ (probably not kid friendly, but I want to hang out on the boardwalk so bad!)
Lincoln, NH (looks pretty there)
Soooo...nothing exciting. I think I'm leaning towards NJ but its about a 13.5 hour drive.
Maybe we could break it up? Ugh, I hate trying to plan trips.
I should just scrap driving and pick somewhere to fly. We should take advantage of T flying for free.
Is Lincoln, NH in the mountains? If so, that would be my first choice. I've been wanting to visit the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I wouldn't be willing to drive that far though. I'd fly into Boston.
ETA: Now that I think about it, I have no idea how a mountain getaway would work with a baby though. Proabably kind of hard to hike with a stroller, I suppose. I didn't think of that.
I agree with Kasa 100%
As for driving, the distance from here to Toronto is about how far I'd want to drive for that duration. You should definitely take advantage of the free kid plane ticket while you can!
I think it's so dumb that they keep building money-making businesses OUTSIDE Breton Village Mall but won't put those same stores IN the mall to help keep it going. Leigh's added on to the mall building but doesn't have a door into the mall. You know people would go inside the mall to shop at Anthropologie...sounds like people who like that place would go anywhere to shop there...which would help out BV Mall tremendously. DUMB.
Awesome, I think you just decided my trip for me! Fly into Boston, break up the trip between Boston and New Hampshire (Lincoln is in the mountains I think - resort is called South Mountain Resort
). Yay. Thanks.
Yay! Boston/NH is a trip on our to-do list. Tour the Ben & Jerry's factory!
Will do, thanks so much for the suggestion. I'm really excited now. I found airfare + car for $600 total out of GR. I can't wait.
I have to delurk (again) to ditto this! This news made my morning, though...I didn't know we were getting one.
I'm thinking about filing bankruptcy, i'm going to look into debt consolidation first.
Are you asking the board how many have filed bankruptcy, or asking about people in general, like if there are statistics out there?
Speaking of Anthropology, that got me thinking. I heard a while back GR was getting an H&M and Crate and Barrel on the Knapp Corner. Does anyone know if this is still true? When is it supposed to be going in?
I haven't heard anything about either store coming to the area. I would hyperventilate if H&M came to town.
