Charlotte Ladies... need your help!
DH and I are relocating to Charlotte. He is already there but I can't move until we sell our house or I find a new job. I have my BS in Nutrition and Exercise and my MSed in Health Education (but do not have a teaching license). I have been looking really hard for a job for the past 2 weeks but have hardly found anything to apply to. Does anyone have any suggestions or online resources they could refer me to? This is where I've been looking so far:
- Carolinas Healthcare System
- Mecklenburg County Website
- Mecklenburg Parks & Rec
- YMCAs across the area
- The state website (specifically Dept of Health and Human Services)
- UNC-Charlotte
- indeed.com
- careerbuilder.com
- monster.com
I was also keeping my eye out on craigslist but every job I've applied to on there has been bogus so far.

Re: Charlotte Ladies... need your help!
Presbyterian Healthcare is another big system here:
http://www.presbyterian.org/site/home/
a former CW works in kinesiology at UNCC and said they're probably hiring soon for some teaching positions, if you're interested.
i'd check the city of charlotte as well, there's not much on there now but they do hire occasionally for some health related jobs.
email me at uncharch7 at hotmail dot com if you want some Y info, i've worked for local Ys for 9 years now (PT)
Thanks, I sent you a msg.
