I agree that it's ignorant, silly, and completely unnecessary. Unfortunately, I also admit that I'm guilty of perhaps saying things like that to myself or thinking them whenever I'm in a foul mood. It's horrible and inexcusable. It's like you think that saying things like that won't hurt or affect anyone negatively, but it does.
I'm on this new thought of "I'm sorry for passing judgment when I should have been extending love."
