C had her first normal checkup today (last time was super long due to the intake process). The babies are measuring 4oz and look good. Every two weeks from here out...annoying but lots of pics of the babies (if I ever have one/a normal pregnancy the once a month is going to make me nuts). I am so glad we found a peri too...as a sidebar, it occurred to me today that if the first one had stuck we would have an eight week old. Weirdly, I am not sad at all, aside from that we didn't get to be excited about THIS pregnancy until the few weeks....but I am so freaking excited today

I feel like a normal expectant parent fr the first time I think!

Magda, love the ticker
mary, she has one more three week (18w) then its two weeks until 28 or 30. The extra visits are mainly to do ultrasounds to check cervical length. Can you imagine the difference in todays care compared to when your mom was expecting?? My mom didn't have twins but is continually shocked!
So exciting! Thanks for the update and I love hearing how excited you are too! I am slightly jealous of the constant check ups and lots of pictures ... I am getting antsy for my first appointment to come yet!
How is C feeling?
The downside of the checkups is a lot of time from work, but it IS nice
She's been feeling good the past 4 weeks or so. She didn't have much trouble travelling since they flew first class. The only issues are the beginnings of sciatica and heartburn. She's been getting migraines too but they're manageable with tynenol and extra sleep and very regular food. The doc said he'll write her a script if they keep up much longer.
I'm glad she can manage them for now and hope they go away. This is one of my biggest pregnancy related fears. I suffer from migraines (I get about one a month) and the only non prescription strength med that will take the edge off is Excedrin, which I know I won't be able to take when pregnant.

That's good to hear. Suffering through a migraine is not fun and I hope C doesn't have to deal with them much longer.
Excedrin is a combo pill of aspirin, acetaminophen, and caffeine. I think it's the first and last things in there that really do it for me. It's funny though because too much caffeine is also one of my triggers.

That is so exciting! I can't wait to hear more updates.
my parents are pretty super excited. since we're staying there until our house sells (and until we find a new one), my mom is all worked up about having babies in the house. We must be out before they're mobile or we'll both lose it
C's parents are coming around. right now her mom is mad we won't see them as much as my parents. Appearently we were suppossed to move to MO when we had babies.
