Why do I....

...read the comments on the Yahoo! news articles?? They always make me sick to my stomach to see so much ignorance and intolerance in the world. People need to get the hell off their high horses.

...say I'm going to clean when I know I'm going to sit around and watch TV/nest?

...do laundry? It never stays clean long enough. It's like the song that never ends...(yes, it goes on and on my friends!)

Re: Why do I....

  • I can't answer #1 but I do #2 and get mad about #3.

I'm going to cook tonight but I don't feel like it right now.

And I hate doing laundry more than anything else because it feels like something is always dirty and I hate it.

  • I ditto the laundry.  It's my least favorite chore.  I'd rather clean a million toilets (regular household toilets, not public or Jersey Shore style) than do laundry.
  • I'm okay with doing laundry until it's time to take it out of the dryer and put it away. It seems like I always have something in the dryer. I try to be good about it because I know it makes DH nuts, but I can't help it.

I think this is why nothing stays clean long enough with me. It goes from the clean basket to the dirty basket. I hang up/put away my clothes, but Danny doesn't and it drives me crazy. There are currently FOUR baskets of CLEAN laundry, UNfolded in our bedroom. All of them are Danny's. Grrrrr.....

And I actually did start to clean today. Yay, me for getting off my arse and being slightly productive.

  • I hear ya on the laundry. Our dryer has decided to not work that well. It still produces heat but it won't dry in one run. We have so much stuff going on that I really don't have the time to have my dad come over and check it. I tried to vacuum out the lint thing but that didn't really help.

  • I'm a dork. I love doing laundry. Feel so organized and accomplished when I'm done. But I'm OCD about it and will only do it when I know I can get it all done. It unnerves me to still have dirty stuff in the basket.

That being said, we currently live in an apartment complex with very unreliable washers/dryers, which I hate using. I'll go to the laundrymat, but it skeeves me out a tiny bit when I find some random person's hair or something on my just dried clothes. So my preferred method is to drag it all down with me when we visit our parents. It's just like being in college again!

B has predicted (accurately I must say) that when/if we ever get a place with our own washer-dryer, that I will probably do laundry every night. He's probably right. And I will be oh-so-very happy. Heart laundry!

Um, this is me.  I've had one basket of clean clothes, folded,  and another load in the dryer, that needs to be folded (although it probably has to be run through a wrinkle release cycle) in the basement (where our laundry is) since Sunday.  This morning I had to go downstairs twice to get some clothes, but I just have not had the energy to bring it all up and put it away.

  • The only person's laundry I enjoy doing is Ellie's. I love putting away all her little clothes and making her room look nice. I couldn't care less about my own laundry, and Guy does his own.

This is me! I LOVE doing laundry!!! I'm insane and wash stuff all the time. Normal people don't wash stuff as often as I do I'm pretty sure. I just love when things smell like fabric softener haha. My favorite scent for a candle is Clean Cotton too!

I also do all the laundry where I nanny. I just don't put it away though.

Baby, you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales...
