What are your running plans for this week?
How did you do last week?
Have you run any races lately? Or whats next?
Anyone doing Nike? I havent heard anything about it this year.. but it could just be off my radar.
Re: Runners Check in
What are your running plans for this week? Not sure. With the extra daylight, I might be outside more.
How did you do last week?Good. Ran several distances in prep for my 5K yesterday
Have you run any races lately? Ran the Go Green Race yesterday- I ran the 5K. Never running that race again. Tonic and I can share the same frustrations.
Whats next? Not sure. I may want to run the Wharf to Wharf but that is in July so something sooner might be good.
Anyone doing Nike? I havent heard anything about it this year.. but it could just be off my radar. I have not heard anything etierh.

Probably not all that shocking, but I'm not running anymore really. I did a couple short runs in February, but never felt like I could go more than 4 miles without becoming worried and nervous, dealing with sciatic pain, intense hunger that I couldn't seem to be prepared for properly with the snacks, etc I'd pack (leading to nausea), etc. I gave my bib away for the half I was going to do yesterday. The girl seemed really excited to take it - it was her first half (and she had only ever done 6 miles, but was excited to run with our mutual friend who was also only prepared for about 6-7 and walked a lot of the rest of the way). Anyway, so I'm not planning to run again until post-baby.
After baby, definitely excited to get back out there with a jogging stroller
...I am super eager to run the CIM relay again in December. Last year, when I ran it, I was very early pg and didn't know it yet so I feel like running it again 3 months post partum is a really good goal for me. Sticking to yoga and swimming and walking these days though...not what I expected, but I'm okay with it.
Great job runners and racers!!
Stef-I was going to post something on FB yesterday about your race but I did not see anything about it so I did not want to cause for concern.
Heck, running takes alot out of me and I can only imagnie when I am PG! Glad to hear you are doing well!
Thanks for thinking of me
But yeah, trust me, I would have been bragging my azz off all over fb if I had actually had the guts to head out there to the race yesterday!
I really really wanted to be a pregnant runner...but it was just more difficult than I anticipated (mentally more than physically, I think). I do miss it.
Congrats on your race yesterday!
Oh I KNOW you would!!
Thank you. It makes me sad I might not be running another race this year but we will see. This TTTC up in the air puts a damper into running darn it.
What are your running plans for this week? Ran a short distance this morning before my ART appointment, need to be consistent with stretching and strengthening my hip flexor. Plan on running tomorrow, Thurs and the weekend. At least on the weekend I can hike or walk the dog we're adopting
How did you do last week? Eh, last week was really stressful with trying to close on our house and times when I got home from work I either bagged it because of wind or rain, but I did manage to run 3 days last week.
Have you run any races lately? Or whats next? hoping to do some long runs (8-12 miles) so I can sign up for a trail half marathon in May, the Cinderella run put on by PCTR.
Anyone doing Nike? This was my first half marathon in 2008. part of me wants to see if I can get in the lottery but then again the rational part of me doesn't want to battle the hills or major crowd. I think I might sign up for CIM again since I missed it in 2010 or the Buzz Johnson trail marathon in October, since I missed that too last year.
