I'm on the more "mature" side compared to some of you but my 22 y/o just married sister is back in town b/c BIL just deployed again. She has her friends but they're mostly young, single, in school, and probably can't identify with married life (my nice way of saying they like to party

). I wonder if I should haul her to a GTG sometime or if she'd feel too young or out of place. Do we have many under 25 Nesties/bumpies?
Re: Any younger nesties?
I'd like to think so but sadly I realized I'm turning 27 this year (and to make matters worse, I had to do the math and calculate my age because I literally lost track!)
...way to make me feel old. Gosh!
Are you thinking of bringing her to the GTG on the 25th? I'm going to try to be there if I can. Would be great to see you again.

This. Spot on. Except I will be turning 28. I swore I just turned 21!
I'm not sure about the gtg but I'm 25. Is that young enough for you
haha.
That's what I'm sayin'!
I'm turning 30 this year but I'm strangely excited about it. People usually guess that I'm in my early 20's, so nobody's going to believe I'm 30, and I get (maybe too much) satisfaction from that.
I had a client's mom the other day say, "You haven't been doing this for long, have you?" So I told her I've been at my current job for two years, interned for one, spent 4 1/2 years as an undergrad and 3 1/2 years in grad school AND took time off in between. I could see her doing the math and she said, "Oh. You're older than you look!"
Plus I'll probably have a better age group place at races because I'll be in the 30-35 bracket, instead of competing against speedy 25 year olds.
It's just a number!
