WDYT of this comforter set? LIP
Okay...I think that DH and I have agreed to set this comforter set to use in our guest room. I've asked my bff's what they think, and while they like it, they're concerned that we'll have trouble picking a wall color to go with it. My thought is that we'll buy the comforter, and then try to pick a color that works. If we can't find a color, then we have a "plan B" comforter that we'd have to order online.
So...what do you think? In person, the orangey-red looks more red than orange (although there is definitely orange in there). I'm thinking that we might be able to find a gray that works (maybe with a bit of a brown base?) or perhaps a sort of golden yellow? Or maybe even a shade of orange?

Ditto this! A while ago one of the hardware stores had a color match thing that you could put fabric up to to get an exact match for paint...I wonder if you could do that for the brown, but in a much lighter version? (and then coordinate with accessories).
It's pretty!
Please do it! I love it!! You can TOTALLY work with this!! I did a quick google search for examples:
WARM COLORS:
Beige is nice
Admittedly, not the best example, but the right yellow could work:
COOL COLORS:
Gray rocks it!
Any my personal fav, BLUE:
When I first saw the comforter I thought a beige wall would look really good with that and then add the colors in the comforter with the accessories. But when I saw the last picture Kellie posted with the light blue walls I really like that.
I personally would not go orange unless I was just painting one of the walls as a focal point. Which would be pretty to put the bed against the orange wall and paint the rest beige.
i like it! I love dwell
I like the light blue or a brownish grey
I like that comforter. I like the middle picture that Kelli posted with the right yellow the orange will pop I believe.
