Re: Workshop Wednesday
I'm jealous that you're working from home today - if only for the fact that you get lay around in your pjs all day!
My only real workshop item is that I need to start making an invitation sample for one of my clients. I'm waiting on the envelopes but I can start printing everything off.
And we got our taxes done last night! Phew!! So glad that's done.
I would love to be working from home today. Most of the people I work with are in a meeting all day which means I won't have much work to do, if any.
My workshop item is really just about done. Despite the fact that we gave my parents their parent album from our wedding before Christmas, DH's father hasn't yet received his. I blame DH for it. He said that he wanted to make it (we used adoramapix) so I let him have a go at it. He never even started it. A week ago I asked him about it and he said that I could just go ahead and make it. All it needs yet is for DH to write a small thank you message and then it is ready to print!

Does sleeping count?? I'm still getting over this sinus infection, so sleeping way more than I normally need to!
However, I did take my first sewing class this week and I have my 2nd knitting class today! The rec center at work also has a craft room, fitted with sewing machines and plenty of space for all sorts of things. We can earn vacation hours for being more well rounded individuals- and crafting is part of that!
But I just saw this on the decorating & renovating board- and I may have to tweak it a little and do this over the next few weeks!!

I like the pink more than the yellow, and I do have a white/off white vase (that I have on the dining table right now, with a navy table cloth and white roses!).
That can be my project for the next month (ie the next two times DH will be out of town for work- more productive than watching movies or maybe I could just be more productive while watching movies!)
I'm not working on anything this week, but next week I have spring break, so I'm planning on getting the house Spring-ready! We've already done a little de-cluttering, but I want to do the whole downstairs while I'm on break.
I'm also planning on doing some yummy baking, so look for that on Tasty Tuesday next week! :-)
