My wasted day off wasn't so bad. Petey got his lyme vax and his heart worm and flea/tick stuff. I carted H's gimping butt to the orthopedist. Ortho says he just has a bruised bone, but if it still hurts in 10 days to come back. Poor guy is in a ton of pain when he changes position or accidentally twists the wrong way.
I slept like crap, partly trying to be mindful of H and partly because I took a 3 hour nap at 5PM.
I have a whole bunch of stuff (both work and personal/house related) to take care of today. I'm feeling surprisingly optimistic that I'll be productive. Here's to a good Wednesday!

Last night sucked. Got home before J and walked into the house and the dog had explosive diarrhea during the day. Thankfully he was in his kennel and not loose in the house. I felt bad though because it was all on his pillow and stuff in his kennel so he was sitting in it all day. My gag reflex was kicking in, so I let the dog outside and then waited the extra 10 minutes for j to get home and clean it.
I'm with LTB - so want to go back to bed. Couldn't sleep @ 1:30 am so I filed our taxes, ate a bowl of cereal and did a load of laundry. Got back to bed by 3, but when my alarm went off I could barely drag my butt to the shower.
Had what will hopefully be our final u/s of baby Q yesterday afternoon. Estimated weight is 6 lbs 5 oz. K asked the doc what that means as far as an expected delivery weight and doc thought he was being funny by saying "no more than 10 lbs"
The terror on my face serioused him up real quick.
Have a meeting with my boss this am to talk about our international subsidiaries. It will be a very long & painful hour, or more.
JenO - read your response to the QOTD - are you def taking the other job and getting away from your immature boss??
NO MORE THAN 10 LBS? Holy hell I'd have fainted or something. That's not a funny joke at all! I still have no idea how I'd ever handle that whole being pregnant/giving birth thing. I cry and whine like a baby when I get period cramps. I can't imagine actual labor pain. I'm pretty sure I'd have to schedule a c-section, but even the thought of that makes me queasy.

Susie - yep, I'm going to take the job and get away from my sh!tty boss! I'm going to wait to make the announcement until next week since the branch manger is out this week...and at this point I consider him more my boss than my actual one!
LTB - I'm w/ you on the whole pain of giving labor...that's the part that scares me the most. I don't handle pain very well and I want to be pregnant and have kids so badly, but pushing a baby the size of a watermelon outta my vajaja makes me cringe!!! Since I can remember I've said that I would have a planned c-section.
im tired, slept like crap. busy day, its half snow and half rain. total opposite of yesterdays 50 degree sunny day!

I'm tired but here. Realized on my way to work I completely forgot about a meeting today at 11:50. Luckily, the paperwork that needs initials/signatures won't take that long to change.
I went to a 31 party last night and got a super cute tote bag and then purse for 50% off. Then my friend, the one who hosted the party, came back over to the house and baked 4 cakes and talked my head off about her new bf. She's in lurve and knows he's the one. I've heard it so many times before it's redamndiculous. She kinda made me mad though when I was talking up the upcoming bachelorette party and said nothing...no comment...no responses...NOTHING then started talking about her bf again. I hate one sided conversations. /rant (sorry)
LTB- I feel your pain about allergies. My car already has a lovely shade of yellow on it now and I'm sneezing off the charts.
I'm hoping to be super productive today, both at work and home!
I could not get the hell up this morning. It's raining, I have PMS...always need more sleep during period week. Seriously considered calling out this morning. Again. Same as yesterday.
We had a great dinner last night at Popi's...apps were caprese salad and lamb chops. I had penne a la vodka and MFD had sauteed scallops over linguine in a blush sauce. He had coconut cake for dessert and I had peanut butter chocolate cake with grenache. We each had cappucino too. So freaking good! Service was excellent and we were home early. We watched a weird movie called Leaves of Grass, then Raising Hope and I was asleep around 11.
I will probably spend most of the day arguing with my boss over how to organize this proposal I'm doing with him. Joy.
Zumba! First time at the gym this week.

wow...that sounded way more enthusiastic than I feel. Just drove back from Massachusetts last night. In the Philly office this morning. This week is such a nightmare. I have meetings in Philly, NJ for the next three days, and I have to be in DC and Annapolis on Friday/Sat. I don't think I'm ever going to make it.
I came THISCLOSE to calling in sick this morning.
Suzie...how on earth do they predict/calculate the weight of the baby?

Morning Ladies!
I won't be around much today since I have the day off and MIL is in town. Yesterday she came in we all went to lunch and then the casino. Oh yeah we drank all effin day! We all won some money:) Good day!!!
Today we are finally going car shopping!!!! Greg and I wont have to share anymore! However that means I will really never see him. I will be asleep by the time he comes home. It was nice having to pick him up so I could actually see and talk with him. Not going out at 11pm to get his azz is really nice though. I will just have to visit him at work. The good thing working at the bar,
We wanted to go o baseball today but its 10:30 we still have to go car shopping and we aren't dress. Maybe tomorrow. God I love spring training.
Tonight we are going to Bern's steakhouse. The 3 of us and MIL wanted to take my friend who help a TON at the wedding. MIl mom was dying the week before the wedding so she was kinda not there (understandable) and Sara really helped everything go soo smoothly! Esp since it was at the house we didn't have any venue staff.

Dia - I have no farking clue. They also estimate size vs gestational age by taking measurements of the head, belly & thigh bone. I know it's just an estimate of weight and it's pretty much just the midpoint of a 1-2 lb range. But I'm taking it as gospel cuz the thought of it being bigger just ... ack.
Steph - agree w/ shauni - drooling at the whole meal. Still an hour left til lunch time!!
Hello ladies. Nothing exciting to add, just that I'm here. My aunt's friend is doing our taxes today so I'm hoping to hear some good news. A refund would be great but I just hope we won't owe.
We should totally do a stickie with all the moms to be and estimated due date.

Just have to figure out when to start working up there. It will suck for a while becuase Don will stay down here and work until our lease is up in June...so we'll be apart during the week and together on the weekends...but it's worth it in the long run!
It's only 3 months...you'll make it!! And hopefully be much happier when you both can get settled in.
