If you can spare a few prayers...

My little Ella could use a few. A little over a week ago she had a pretty bad seizure that took close to an hour to snap out of and the neurologist wanted another headache/seizure to happen before doing more tests. Well, Monday morning she had another headache and was able to lay down and fall asleep before it turned into anything worse. So, now we will go ahead with more testing. She has an EEG on Monday. What I would like is some prayers that this is the only test they have to do and they can figure out why my poor baby has to go through this. I am emotional wreck over it. Thanks.

Re: If you can spare a few prayers...

  • Poor girl - and mama too! I hope you receive the results you are looking for from the upcoming test.
  • So sorry she/you are going through this!  Things with your kids are the worst :(  Praying she'll have to get minimal additional testing and that you find out what you need.  My younger brother had some seizures (as a preteen, I think?) and I remember it was sooo scary--and I wasn't the mom!  I can't imagine how you feel.  Also praying for peace and strength for you, Momma!
  • How scary for you guys and Ella.. I can't even imagine going through the scariness that you guys are having to deal with! TONS of prayers coming your way that they figure out what is wrong and that it is nothing major!

  • How scary.  I hope you get the answers you are looking for very quickly.
  • That is scary!  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I have worked with kiddos who have had seizures as children, and then they go dormant.  I don't like not knowing what the causes are, but they have great medical advancements now, so hopefully they figure this out and she can feel better!
