WW girls... How's PP going for you?
How are you doing with the new PP program?
I'm totally struggling with my weight now.
Since Sept, I've gained 7-8 lbs (and have held there) and have always been within my pts range - usually on the lower side of the allotted pts.
Some people say try eating more. I stay the same or gain when I eat more. I stay the same or gain when I eat less...
I get 29 DP, 49 WP, and I earn usually around 50 APs.
For example, this week, I didn't touch my WPs, ate 40 of my APs (13 left). And gained.
Ugh.
Any thoughts?
Re: WW girls... How's PP going for you?
Not well. I found the new program quite discouraging. On the old program I was able to lose fairly easily, but the new program has been a major struggle.
I'm curious to see what others think and hoping they have some tips
I always lost a pound or two a week on the old program, and have lost three pounds in a month on the new program.
While I'd like to see faster weight loss, I like the point calculations a lot better. I feel that my food choices are going to be more nutritious and I'm more satisfied, even if the weight is coming off more slowly.
Since FB is blocked at work, I will answer here.
I am struggle too and this only my 2nd week!
I am having a hard time getting over the fact my greek yogurt is 3 pts and one of these WW flavored yogurt is 2. As I was looking through the stuff they gave me my first week, I am disappointed in the fact that all this FF stuff is 1 pt but say 2% cheese is 2-3. Yes, I understand it will take some adjusting but still. So while I am following the plan, I am not. KWIW?
I was so gung ho about this. Why can't I commit to anything?!?!
Ok, I am in a crabby mood right now so my judgment may be clouded
I plateaued for a bit but now I'm losing again. I've actually been losing so much the past couple of weeks that WW gave me a warning that I"m losing too fast. Before it was about .5 lbs/wk. Now it's a bit more than 1 lb/wk. WW says that more than, I think, 2 lb/wk for more than a month is bad.
I think it took a while for my body to get used to the change and then for me to have to adjust to the new points, but I think it's better.
Not sure what to say about the Greek yogurt vs WW yogurt, but Greek yogurt is just strained regular yogurt, right? So, it'd make sense that an equal amount of each wouldn't be the same amount of points since 1 c of Greek yogurt is like 2 cups of regular yogurt strained (or whatever the proportions are).
I use an average of 28.6 daily points (29 is my max), 21 weekly points, and have an average of 12.5 weekly points if that's any guide...
