Cat Mommies..come in please!
First, hug your cat for me today! I miss ours so much but each day gets better. AND we are looking at adopting next week! There is so many cats out there that need love and a good home so it's time!
Here's the ones we are looking at:

or
Now on to business! Since I'm not a huge cat person, I don't know what the best cat food is. What do you feed your cat? Anything you would recommend?
Thanks so much!
Re: Cat Mommies..come in please!
we feed both of our animals the same parent brand... the cat gets Felidae and the dog gets Canidae... keeps the dog from stinky up the room at night (lol bulldogs can def be stinky doggies!) and the cat will eat w/e you put in front of him.

they are a lil expensive but well worth it i think, both of our animals are pretty healthy - no skin, fur, or allergy issues. plus ratchet is part maine *** cat so his fur is pretty fluffy but his matts stay to a minimun during the winter!
good luck!
and ps i vote for the orange guy - he's smiling!

I vote for the orange tabby! But I'm biased since I have one of my own.
They are both adorable though.
We feed our kitty Nutro Max Cat. We get it at Petsmart and started with the kitten food (obviously) and now feed Indoor Adult. From what DH and I have been told, when you go into Petsmart the food is grouped by quality from the back to the front. So the food in the aisles closest to the door are the best (and usually most expensive) than the ones at the very back. This food is rated higher than most at Petsmart.
My vote is also for the orange kitty, but I'm a sucker for orange cats. I have heard that orange boys have great personalities, and of our three cats, our white and orange one is the craziest.
Cat food is a bit of an issue for us because 2 of our cats are overweight and one is normal size (the orange one, probably stays small from all the running around he does!). Even though we know they eat each other's food, ideally 2 of them would get the weight control version and the thinner one would just eat regular adult formula; we put both out and they also get a can of wet food every other day.
As for brands, I used Science Diet for years until a few months ago when I decided to do a little research and learned that it is overpriced crap. It's full of fillers and nutrionally is no better than what you can get in a supermarket but costs 4 times as much. I read that Wellness is the best but our cats didn't like it. Right now we're using the Royal Canin weight control and regular formulas, and the cats like it. It's not the best food nutrionally but better than Science Diet. I think there is a link on the Pets board that lists out the nutrional value of the different brands.

Found the link...
They are both adorable!!!
Sometimes I change up what I give my kitty but I usually try to find more natural food, and I try to get food w/o corn in it.
But I do like Wellness - My kitty loves the wet food especailly

Both are adorable!! I can't resist a tiger cat though! He is way cute!
We feed our kitty Science Diet. That's what the vet uses and what the shelter uses in our area. It's AWESOME! Seriously...our cat's fur is sooo soft and she is super healthy. We get her the adult indoor formula...but they have a ton of formulas for different issues.
Good luck! Again, Sorry about your other kitty.
We have both our cats separated at the time, so that helps with the feeding. The older cat is strictly on a wet food diet (currently it is meow mix...she will get tired of a brand and will stop eating it until we change brands). The younger cat (the one that we thought we had a new home for) eats science diet mixed with either meow mix or friskies dry cat food.
Let us know which one you adopt (or both) of those cute cats!
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! If I could adopt two, I so would! But not sure our home is made for two kitties right now!
As I was reading everyone's reaction to the second cat, Bert, it made me think of I Can Haz Cheezburger! Bert definitely needs a caption!
