**hawki** (or other bakers)
I'm making cake pops tonight for the first time. I am planning on modifying your Irish Car Bomb Cupcake recipe to make them. They are my most requested baking item ever (thanks to your blog post) but I really want something a bit different for St. Patrick's Day. Anyway, I baked the cake last night in a 9x13 pan. I am planning on making the Bailey's buttercream tonight to mix into the cake and then dip them in Irish Whiskey laced dark chocolate (and then maybe drizzle with green tinted white chocolate to make them a bit more festive). Do you think this will work? Do you have any tips for me?
Re: **hawki** (or other bakers)
It sounds fantastic -- I think it will work!
The best tip I have for cake balls is the freezer -- give yourself plenty of time and freeze them in between steps. Roll your cake balls out and freeze them for about an hour before dipping them. Don't let them get warm while you are dipping - just do a few at a time (about a dozen is a good quantity to work with in my experience).
Good luck - let me know what you think of them
