Thursday "Trip down memory lane..." (PIP)
Woo hoo!!! Another week down until our Anniversary month!!!
In honor of this wonderful occasion, and because we had such a good time with it last week - let's take another trip down memory lane to celebrate our favorite things about our weddings!
Let's see...for today's trip, let's share a favorite picture of you and your flower girl/ring bearer (if you had one) and/or a favorite "getting ready" photo, and the stories behind the photos!
Two topics today, because I know not everyone had little people in their wedding parties :-))

Re: Thursday "Trip down memory lane..." (PIP)
I can't PIP (bc the pic is on my home computer) but here's my photog's website with my favorite pic of "getting ready" AND "my flower girl":

That's my niece Riley (my sister's daughter) and she was about 22 months on our wedding day. She was running around the room we were getting ready in and I called her over for a picture. I just scrunched down and kissed her and I had no idea how cute she was until we got our pics back about a month later. Everyone said it was an adorable picture and I was thrilled when I saw it! I just absolutely love the look on her face. It's perfect.
How beautiful!!! Look at that cute face she is making - it is indeed, perfect!!!
Here are few of my favs with my flower girl:
This one was taken as I was heading downstairs to take some bridal portraits before the wedding. I've known my flower girl Brianna (one of my closest friends' daughter) since before she was born, as I like to tell her! Her mom told her not to let "Miss Stacy's dress get dirty before the wedding" and she took her job quite seriously!
I just thought she looked so sweet in this one!
She was a little trooper - she had a long day and I know she was tired, but she still managed to be a sweetie the whole time :-)
Oh the fun memories!!
Great post for this week!
Here's my favorite picture of me and my flower girl - my niece! She had just turned 2 before the wedding (and now she's 3! ah!) and she was SO great - she made it down the aisle all the way on her own! I just absolutely adore her and I'm so glad I'll have this picture forever and I can't wait to be able to share it with her when she's older.
And she just had so much fun that it tired her out at the reception!
Ok - i'm cheating a bit here... my photogs kinda sucked and i really don't have many photos of me getting ready (no face in mirror, dress going on, shoes going on etc. grr) so i'm choosing one of the boys! LOL they'd prob kill me if they knew this was on the internet! hahaha see i went and bought lime green dress socks (to match the girls lime green pumps) but didn't tell any of the guys... so when they arrived to get ready they had the socks hung on the hangers with directions that there was no option. put. them. on. hehe
oh! and the captian morgan stance??? started at the guy third from the right's wedding, same post for guy second from right, so only fitting that we get one of our guys too! (ps DH is third from left!)
and again - photos sucked... don't have any of my lil flower girl and me. awesome.
can't wait to see the rest of the photos!
9 Glorious Months!
My Photography Blog!
Hahahaha!!!! Love it!!!!
I wouldn't call her a "little person" anymore since she's actually taller than me now, but she was the baby of the bunch. My lovely step daughter!!!
We were pretty much already ready, but waiting for the limo to arrive...
I didn't have any teeny tinys in my wedding
except the one in my bridesmaids belly
but you can't really even tell she was pregnant!
So here are some getting ready shots. I just think this one of my sister is so funny.
I love this one of my hair stylist putting in my veil. It was so long the only way she could do it was to get up under it and put it in and I just think its a fun pic!
This one I look SO oblivious to what is being discussed behind me!
Had to just add in a color pic. This is Kristen (and my sister) Kristen was the ONLY bridesmaid who could tie a bow that looked like a bow and not a floppy mess. I'm not sure who did hers but I have photos of her doing two of the other girls as well and there were two other girls that the photog didn't even catch!
Oh, I'll play this week! We had a ring bearer, my DH's cousin. He was so cute but so nervous, and his mom was so excited that she bought the tux!

My flower girls were my nieces. Aren't they just ADORABLE! They are 3, 2 and 1 in this picture! : )
This is my niece, Sam. She is seriously my mini me. Looks and acts just like I did.

This is Jeff and our ring bearer, our close friend's son. We, too, have known him since before he was born, and was actually with his dad when he got the call that his son was being born!!!

I like this one of my sisters lacing me up. I like that it is just us three, and they are doding over me like they used to when I was little. With my oldest in Cali, we see each other about once a year.

And for a good funny one while getting ready -

@Holly: That's great! Sucky though that your photographer didn't get any great pictures
I didn't have any little people in my wedding party so here's my favorite pre-wedding shot:
Shmel's Blog
@ Mel - I love this shot - it is so "serene" looking!
@Danie: Your little girls are so darned cute!!! The pic of you and Sam is priceless!
I'm loving this look back - here are a couple "getting ready" shots....!
(But first, one more fav of Bri! This one was taken in our bridal suite)
This is me getting my "face" put on, while my BMs looked on! My makeup artist, Brandon was amazing :-)
This one is of my MOH and BM helping me get into my shoes...boy, I just remember that we laughed and laughed the whole time we were getting ready!
I love everyone's pictures!! This is fun!
This is one of my fave shots from the hair salon.. I love how dramatic this photo looks with the veil all flowy. I didn't feel like a bride until she put my veil on!
Here is a cute pic, snapped by my dad, of me and my girls admiring my dress! My dress was a secret, so this was their first glimpse of it. I'm glad I kept it a secret, because I loved seeing their reactions!!!
and one of my fave pro shots
This was a great topic Stacy!!

This was my ringbearer (nephew of oldest brother) right before we were going to proceed I had to stop the photographer and tell her that I wanted a picture with him. I thought it was silly that she wouldn't have thought of that but oh well. Glad I got it in there!
For some reason the pics from my camera appear really low quality (10mp too!) These are my MOH and SD, looking like the old AT&T/Cingular commercials. We were all set to go!
Again sorry for the poor quality, I dunno what the prob is. (I uploaded to tinypic to get them on here) That's all of us girls with our hair all done up! I didn't have the photog for the getting ready stuff so I brought my camera along.
EDIT- I Have no idea what the heck happened with all this gibberish!! Oh thenest you have your special ways about you don't you.

Hi Ladies!
We got ready in the hotel where the hubs and I spent our wedding night, and it was right by the water and super windy! We ran to the car but the wind still tried to carry away my veil, and my awesome photographer got this snap:
Can't believe it's almost been a year!
