ALB Recs for Housecleaner?
It's time to admit defeat: Cleaning this place is low on the long list of things that have to get done here, and spending time with my little guy is so much more fun. We squeezed some money out of our budget to hire someone every other week, but now I have no clue how to find someone.
If you have someone that cleans your house, or know of anyone who has hired someone reliable, where did they find the person? Or did they hire a company?
I have to admit that I read Nickel and Dimed, which left me with an undying skepticism that cleaning companies will actually disinfect things and not just make it look like they're cleaning.
Re: ALB Recs for Housecleaner?
I'm late to this post but I read nickle and dimed as well- so i went with a person...I actually tried out 2...the first lady did a good job however a couple things werent done that she said were included- and when I asked about her coming back to finish she asked if I was going to hire her bi-weekly..(uhm- no) and then I found a lady on craigslist- she's pretty decent but I have found no one cleans like you do...
not sure where you are- my lady is in new baltimore (near coxsackie) so she doesnt travel far but I could give you her info if you want....
@Dar- will you email me who your sister used? I could always use a back up...
