HELP! March Madness related

I'm in two pools.  One is my family's pool which is quite small.  I picked Kansas to win.

The second is my work pool which is huge (like 100 people).  I cannot decide who to pick.  A little help?  I can change my ballot until noon today.

What's your strategy?  In a big pool, do you pick a safe team or a long-shot?

Re: HELP! March Madness related

  • I picked Pitt, partially because others are not likely to choose them so that might be my only shot at winning anything because I picked pretty randomly.  And partly because I really don't want OSU or Duke or Kansas to win. :-)

So that's what I voted, but the true best advice is to go with the team more likely to win (OSU, Duke or Kansas).

  • I picked Purdue.  They're a #3 team.  According to ESPN.com only 2% (or so) people picked them to win it all.  I have no real reason for picking them though.  My entire bracket is done randomly because I don't know much about college b-ball, I just thought it would be fun.   I chose Kansas for your poll though.  Just because the experts say OH will win doesn't mean they will.  It's called March Madness because anything can happen!

My research says that Big 10 teams are really strong this year, so Purdue might actually be a good pick.

(I spent way to much time and effort on this this year, can you tell?)

  • I also picked Pitt to win it all, but my brackets were pretty random. I did zero research. In your poll I voted for Kansas. Good luck!
  • I love that no one has picked OSU yet.
