From time to time we meet with industry folks where they are telling us about something they have coming up and they're trying to test the waters for how it will go over. I'll be sitting at the table with these middle-aged men and I know to them I look like a little kid frsh out of college. They'll reference a major order and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside that they have no clue that I, that little kid at the table, wrote that. Furthermore, when they come in with their future proposal, I'm going to write the order on that too.
That's one of the things I love about my job, the level of responsibility that a 29 year old that looks 22 can have. Have I mentioned yet how much I'm going to miss this job come June? ![]()
Re: One thing that weirdly thrills me about my job
That's funny, I am sure you feel pretty cool! I know parents get uncomfortable with their students having such a young teacher. I always feel like I have to talk myself up, I hate it. But I am 25, lol. Maybe when I have10 yrs experience and still look 25 I will enjoy it!
Alzi- I didn't know you were a doctor! Audiologist?
