As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hey ladies, just checking in
Had the ILs here for 2 days once we returned from RI so it's been insane. Add to that the kids' first day of school where Maddy didn't eat and then she came down with a fever Tuesday/Wednesday and has an ear infection and laryngitis :-( But we avoided croup, which was good. So she's on dose 3 of antibiotics, has been fever free all morning so far, and is definitely in better spirits. Yesterday was horrible. She had to be held and walked all day and just cried and cried. It broke my heart :-( Add to it that Jerred left yesterday morning for Indiana again (he'll come home tonight) and I was not in a good place by bedtime last night, especially with Ben lying in his bed sobbing that he missed daddy.
So Ben is off to school in his leprechaun shirt, Maddy is home with me in her little 4-leaf clover dress, and hoping to maybe pull a few leprechaun pranks for Ben before he comes home later. Coffee, breakfast, Pandora, then hoping to get some work done if Maddy stays in a good mood. Worried about work with not being able to stay on deadline with Maddy home, but we'll see. She'll nap soon enough and that will be a big help. Just happy to have her smiling again today!
