Thoughts?

It just boggles my mind that the neighbors and HOA think there is nothing wrong with fining this family $50 everytime they feel this little boy is playing too loud.  There's a video interview with the parents on FOXNEWS; that little boy sat quietly on his daddy's lap for over three minutes.  If he was normally a wild, loud, out-of-control little boy there is no way that would have happened.

Re: Thoughts?

  • That's so whack. If it was an "adult" community, why even allow them to move in there with their kid? This whole story is ridiculous, and those neighbors are a pain in the @ss. I would move out of there pronto.

  • That's nuts.

  • Ridiculous. Unless the units are very poorly insulated, I can't believe that the noise level can really be so bad. Also, don't people realize that if they don't want to hear their neighbors walking on their ceiling, they should live on the top floor? That's pretty standard everywhere I've lived - children present or not.

The HOA states that they built the condos for adult residents, so it seems to me they are just trying to get rid of children. I've always believed HOAs are evil.

  • That's crazy!! It sounds like the neighbors are being a real pain. I don't believe for 1 second that that little boy is causing all that noise. It also sounds like that HOA is a real problem to especially after trying to fine that resident thinking he was advertising things. I'm wondering if the other neighbors on the sides of them are complaining also. I would be looking for another place pronto!
